Senior year is a time filled with milestones, memories, and exciting transitions. For Nina, capturing this special moment meant creating a senior portrait experience that showcased her vibrant personality and the things she loves most. From golden flower fields to cherished moments with her dogs, showcasing her skills in discus, and paddleboarding at a local park, her session was a perfect reflection of who she is.

We began Nina’s session surrounded by the beauty in Alt Park, a beautiful park located just a short trip from downtown Cincinnati.

Next we headed north of the city to the beautiful flower fields in Kingwood park.  With golden sunlight filtering through the blossoms, the scene created a dreamy, timeless backdrop. Next, we included some furry family members who hold a special place in Nina’s heart—her beloved dogs who sat politely by her side.  I love incorporating pets into senior sessions because they’re such an important part of life and add an extra layer of meaning to their senior album.

As an accomplished athlete, it was essential to capture Nina’s passion for discus. We headed to the field where she trains, using the open space and the cage throwing circle we created striking sports portraits. Dressed in her team uniform and holding the discus, Nina showcased her strength, determination, and dedication to her sport. We also captured action shots that froze moments of her powerful throws, highlighting both her skill and the intensity of the sport. These portraits are a testament to her hard work and athletic achievements throughout high school.

Lastly we had to incorporate her love for paddleboarding.  Hamilton County has so many amazing parks so we headed to Winton Woods to incorporate one of Nina’s favorite pastimes of paddleboarding.
